Fun Facts:
  • Leopard Gecko which is a small, ground-dwelling lizard native to the arid regions of Afghanistan, Pakistan, India and Iran. Leopard geckos have a yellowish-brown base colour with black spots resembling the pattern of a leopard, which gives them their name. There are also many morphs (colour and pattern variations) available. Their thick tails store fat, which they can use as a reserve during periods of food scarcity. The tail also detaches as a defence mechanism if grabbed by a predator, and it can regenerate over time.
